Idk, it's one of those things where I actually think that Cormier is better in all areas but he's facing a guy that's just so much bigger. I mean he's obviously a better wrestler than stipe, even though stipe is good. I also do think that he has better standup, think about how small DC is and he is still able to stand with guys that have a huge reach advantage.

Stefan Struve did not destroy Stipe. Stipe more than held his own in his 9th fight against a 7 foot tall vet in his 30th MMA fight, Struve fouled Stipe before the tko iirc. Stipe destroyed Ngannou. DC gets taken down by guys with good timing on their shots (jones, Gustafsson) and Stipe has that in strides. Plus stipe is better boxer. Don’t see where DC wins this one.

This fight has me pumped up quite a bit. I honestly have no idea who will win. Should be a great one. Plus, it's a super fight that is actually good for the sport from both a financial and a competitive standpoint. Two dominant champions facing off. Stipe is the longest reigning heavyweight champion of all time. Cormier is undefeated at heavyweight going against legit competition, which gives him a plausible chance for victory. Should be a great one.
