He says he doesn't mind being the underdog, but I think he's getting sick of people doubting him. He finished his last 5 fights by KO/TKO against some of the most legit HW's ever, two of them being title defenses and people are still writing him off.

This vid was posted in an earlier thread as proof of Stipe being shook, but that's not what I see at all. I think Stipe has something to prove on this one, and he wants to shut up all of his doubters. Dude is definitely not shook or intimidated. War Stipe.



 
I laugh whenever people say that Stipe is "shook" dude went through the ringer and beat pretty much every top 5 guy at HW, yet he's scared of facing Francis?

yeah, i agree. i think stipe definitely feels a bit disrespected, even by the ufc, given the push they're giving francis. not good news for ngannou, for him to fight a motivated stipe. i'm still sticking with stipe winning a late tko after avoiding the initial storm, and tiring ngannou out.
 
I kind of get why with how scary Ngannou looks at the moment, but I agree, Stipe is still not getting the respect he deserves. Hopefully he wins and shuts a lot of doubters up.

Right?! Ngannou's ballriders are out of control. I'm not saying that Ngannou can't win via utter destruction, but to imply that Stipe is shook is fucking absurd. Look at his last five wins ffs.

mainly the part at the end where he was just agreeing with everything Ngannou said, like "Yeah whatever he says." He seems over it, and annoyed that someone would even imply that he's intimidated.

It's a pretty close fight for me, and I'm rooting for Francis, but shieet, Stipe is without a doubt the best opponent he's faced.

Would be awesome to finally see someone break the HW title defense record too.
 
Ngannou is the Heavy weight killing machine everyone is craving. Whether he lives up to it remains to be seen...

Well...the dude runs into flaming buildings, where his life is literally on the line. I dont think he is scared, but should be cautious that's for sure lol. That man hits like a freight train.

We shall see. I'm excited either way.

I don't know why, and it sounds unlikely, but I'm envisioning a clinch situation where an overconfident Ngannou disregards Stipe's power and gets caught with some tight inside uppercuts. Would be awesome if Stipe slept him early.
 
I'd love nothing more than Stipe to KO Ngannou in the first.
 
How is merely repeating someone else's words "punking" someone? God sherdog and those idiots on YouTube are desperate.
 
I imagine it's really annoying being the guy on top, but no one believes in you. Even though you proved it fully multiple times. The weeks leading up to fights are interviews after interviews with the same incessant questions asked over and over.
