Stipe Miocic have made 6M totally in UFC as an ex-champ

Minus 50% tax 25% gym/management you're looking at about 2.5m... Buy a house, a car, and put some.money away for kids expenses and that doesn't leave you with waltz off into the sunset money... Why not?

Also, what business is it of anybodies how much another person decides to earn from their career, or when they decide to retire - it's their career to do what they want with.

Is this about Mark Hunt?

That is so little to defend the HW belt. Can you imagine Tyson Fury fighting for less than $1M?

Man there are people crying about UFC pay lol
Some people have no honor, they are wasting their life for kissing celebrities ass(fighter, actor, rapper doesn't matter)
Who cares if Stipe earns 6m a fight or 6m in his whole career?

He will fight again since he will get an instant title shot

But I suspect he has 3x fights left max

All these values are pulled out off thin air and have no sources. This whole thread is just patting UFC on the back about numbers that someone pulled out of their ass. I can do the same, I heard Stipe actually made 25 million. Don't ask me how I got these numbers

A single big fight might generate more income for a fighter than the rest of their career combined. It's no wonder some fighters choose to sit out when that one big shot is on the horizon.

Most of his title fights would have had PPV points (6 fights as champ) and who can say about locker room bonuses he might have picked up (more of a thing pre WME).

He's probably made at least double the $6mil disclosed

and..? how much did Fury, Wilder, Joshua, etc make in some of their recent boxing matches? More than Stipe made in his whole career. Also even if a few guys at the top of UFC make okay money, that doesn't make it alright that the other 95% don't make shit. Dana is a scumbag for suppressing the ali act and any attempt at unionization, he wants to keep it so fighters have no leverage and no proper share of the profits. UFC is not a sport with this level of pay disparity, it's a circus act.

Double? Nah he made 100 million.

$6 million in career earnings over the course of 10 yrs for the greatest HW in UFC history actually isn't a lot at all. TS keeps making threads about how much UFC has paid these guys (Hunt, JDS, Overeem, etc), like UFC was doing them a big huge favour or something. Let's just pretend UFC made nothing from them

where does all the money generated by ppv go ? straight to dana ?

He is also using numbers that are made up, which is even better. Like where are all these values from? Obviously not the commissions since they don't release them anymore

To think the heavyweight champ isn’t even cracking a mill per fight AS CHAMP!

Prime Hunt KOs him.

Also is it confirmed @Yrat is Mark Hunt’s ex?

My question is , shall Stipe keep fighting? He will become 40 years old this year and have not fought in almost a year.
Why would you use this garbage site for its garbage fake numbers? Of the 18 fights listed (why is the Hunt fight bolded) only seven figures are based on actual, real information. That means 11 of 18, or 61% of your tallies that are complete works of fiction.

Not great money for one of the best heavyweights the Ufc has ever had. With that said, what did Stipe do to get butts in seats and ppv buys? I'm not going to defend the UFC's payouts, but the reality of it is, you get what you put on in in terms of legacy and purses.

Outside of training his ass off to be a great fighter, Stipe was more concerned being a firefighter and a family man than promoting himself, and this payout reflects that.

TL;DR

UFC pay sucks, and being marketable will make you more money than being talented.

Where does Hunt fit into all this? Oh yeah. He fought Stipe.
