Stipe getting Scarier closer to fight time.

I don't give a shit how "harsh" his tone gets, he is not scary because he lacks the emphatic finishes Ngannou has displayed.
Compared next to Ngannou, Stipe is forgettable. Which explains why he has not caught on with the fans. His indifference to the whole affair fucked him over and he has only himself to blame.

Lol. Man. TBH, I am really not rooting for either guy tonight. First main event in a long time where I don't really care who wins. Just going to watch and enjoy. I am just very interested and excited to see what kind of strategy that Stipe will use.

The DC/Volkan fight really sucks for me because I am a big fan of both and hate to see either guy lose.

Agree with this, especially Stipe / Francis.

REALLY like both of these guys.

Ngannou is becoming one of my favorite fighters, but Miocic is damn near impossible to root against. Such a nice guy and a great representative of the belt.

First, it feels like you're trying to become a corny MMA journalist/writer.

Second, no shit.

Man, I get the hype with Francis here. But Stipe is the REAL monster who is going to put on a serious beating tonight. I enjoy both fighters both you are going to see the large gap in skill between the two.

It's not one particular video....it's just the closer we get, the colder he seems to get.
Stipe has that Fedor/Cro Cop stoic mentality. In his Joe Rogan Podcast interview, he mentioned how he learned to almost not care about the pressure before fights and just focus on doing the best he can. This mentality seems to have worked for him.

War Stipe! Hope he goes out and wins this one convincingly but Ngannou is a beast

Maybe he's been training with Dark GSP

Every time Stipe makes his entrance, he seems so calm and relaxed. Maybe more so than almost any fighter I have seen.

Some guys come out all pumped up like Wanderlei. Some stay in their own zone like Fedor or Royce. But Stipe is always chewing bubble gum and has his eyebrows raised, looking very unconcerned. He literally looks like he is walking to his mailbox.

That's such an advantage to have honestly. No adrenaline dump, no burnout during training, no nerves slowing you down in the beginning of the fight, etc. You can tell he's genuinely not scared of Ngannou, which might be a first, since most of Ngannou's opponents seem to be scared shitless of him.

Just watching all his interviews leading up to this fight.....he'd always say the same stuff. "I'm going out there to do my job", "and still", etc. And he'd say it with an almost self deprecated type of way with a little chuckle.

The closer to the fight it gets, the harsher his tone has become. Could be that he's getting annoyed answering the same questions over and over, reporters asking if he's afraid of Ngannou. But to me, he's starting to show his darker side. Something about his tone of voice and stoic demeanor, mixed with a slight annoyance that people are doubting him. By the time he hits the cage tonight, he'll be in full killer form.

Regardless of who you want to win or how this fight goes, we should really appreciate the Savage that is Stiopic.

In the Road to the Octagon before the Gonzaga fight, his coach said something like "It's almost like he has two personalitites. He has this big kid personality that's very fun, we laugh and we joke, but when he flips the switch—it's pretty scary."

And it's almost time to flip the switch...

Stipe is getting so scary that I have decided not too watch the fight anymore, I don't want to be getting nightmares.

His croatian spite is taking over. I allmost feel sorry for Francis.
