Yes, it happened.

Using that JBJ strategy to get a win.

The 2nd one was brutal too. Too bad Herb Dean wasn't reffing. He'll he was stopping fights for fingers getting close to the face trying to take a point and swooshes on nut shots.

LOL

the last bones nut-huggers grasping at any straw now to try and discredit the NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

<DCWhoa><mma1><36>

Touching one's face doesn't automatically qualify as an eye poke. He did eye poke him the first time, though.

It's an eye poke and a hard one you can see it on Stipe's face

Here’s the thing. The ref has already warned DC for his fingers being out and it happened again. Not a great night for Godard but I’m not sure fight would’ve been much different.

Yer that was definitely an eye poke, Stipe being the great honorable man that he is didn't even bring up in his post-fight interview because he didn't want to look like he was making excuses but I'm sure he's told his team and those close to him about it. What a warrior and a champion.

Former champion...

If it had been a hard eye poke, he would have signalized it to the ref and gotten recovery time.

There you go. It wasn't so hard, now was it?
