Why wouldn't he prefer to fight another striker? He wants a stand-up fight and not a guy wanting to take him to the canvas. It's just a preference. You really have no idea what "ducking" means. If Thompson doesn't want the T-Wood fight next, a title shot he's already more than earned, then sure, call that a duck then. Just don't be surprised when Wonderboy does sign to fight him immediately.

He told Woodley 10 minutes after the fight he is next in line and is ready to fight him. Woodley is the one who avoided the 'call out' and said he'd rather fight a $$ fight. I understand Woodley was out for 18 months and needs a big $ fight but he needs to fight people who are deserving of a title shot. Nick Diaz is not (yet).
