A few days ago, karate nerd Jesse Enkamp released a video of him and his brother, UFC fighter Oliver Enkamp meeting sensei Seagal and spending a day training with him, where he teaches them his deadly techniques such as ... the Anderson Silva front kick.

Now that we have a reference on his secred deadly techniques, what do you think of him? Do you think he could defeat Sensei Frank Dux?

Beat Dux? Maybe. But Master Fabia, Never!

Well he did make Anderson the champion he was.

Jokes aside:

Notice something at 08:04 - Seagal knocks Enkamp down with a clothesline and says "But the old style would be that strike."

I have been criticising Seagal's "Irimi Nage" for not being much of an Irimi Nage, that is entering throw, at all but rather a strike knocking someone down. So, as it turns out ... it's supposed to be a strike and therefore, a different technique? Can we get any Aikido expert in this thread and clarify what the hell type of technique it is supposed to be if it's not a shitty Irimi Nage?

He is friends with Putin and still makes shitty movies regularly. That is how his lifestyle is paid for i guess.

I knew the Russia connection but I doubt the straight to DVD classics that walrus is putting out now are paying the bill. The video is in Dubai. Wonder if he has more financial backers there as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were paying the bill. In every country i have been to, it was never difficult to find garbage piles of his latest movies in the dollar bin. Considering how little effort they put into them and also that (i believe) he owns the rights to them, i would not be surprised if this shit would create a revenue stream significant enough to finance his lifestyle, especially if he doesn't pay taxes.

U just walk around countries and see piles of his movies laying around ?

Exactly. Like E.T. for Atari 2600 in the desert. :P

What i meant was that in electronics stores that sell DVDs i have been to internationally, there were always Steven Seagal movies from the last 15 years for sale. Interestingly, i cannot recall ever seeing his classics being sold anywhere.

I'm talking about movies like this:

Absolution.StevenSeagal.2015.jpg

There is a YouTube channel that reviews all his newer movies it’s funny but I forgot what it’s called … I’m sure it’s pretty easy to find they review a bunch of shitty movies
