Social Steven crowder demonetized

Wait are you telling us the only companies in america are leftist? How about instead of worrying about liberal advertisers the right wing company that does start their own video sharing site focus on attracting right wing advertisers? Or are you telling us that there are no right wing companies for it to succeed? Its funny you guys believe on capitalism but cant deal with left wing advertisement having preference on who, what and where to advertise on.

I never said anything about the political views of the advertisers/companies. I'm saying these companies get spooked by liberal nutjobs who have nothing better to do with their lives than go on social media or head out in the streets and try to drum up bad publicity for a company because they advertised on a platform with right wing views.

If you're going to participate in the War Room, work on your reading comprehension, junior.

Now why would they remove that?

So that he can get paid for his videos? Or are you saying private companies should be forced to sponsor him regardless of what he says or does? Sounds like some totalitarian anti-capitalist talk

How is getting demonetized "very low"?
I can hardly think of anything more privileged than a guy complaining about not getting ad revenue for being a dipshit failed comedian on youtube

You mean taking a polical position and alienating half of the voting base is about money ? Good business tactics I wonder why ESPN had made it their priority to take politics off their network in the last year and of course you got his shirt name wrong
Youre wrong tho...youtube isn't alienating half of the voring base.

Fact is that crowder's 250k viewers or whatever it is...is insignificant to the 100s of millions of viewers that youtube gets.

Most people don't know about crowder or give a shit...so no, this isnt alienating anybody in the grand scheme of things, but I know conservicucks are hyping the shit out of this to make it appear that way

He found the easiest market to impress.

If its not getting reported how do you expect YT to do something about it? Like it or not people pointed Crowder out to YT which is why they did something. If you see objectionable content that you don't think is receiving the same amount of scrutiny then report it.

I've already said I think people should decide for themselves if they want to view something or not. If we go down this road of selectively removing content "we" disagree with it won't lead to anything good IMO.

Are there stats on what "people" who didn't work for Vox reported? As far as I know this entire fiasco is related to that butt hurt Vox reporter, a video Crowder did with a transgender, a video Crowder did with a sexual assault victim and that shirt.

Is there more to it? Seriously.

He can still make money of his subscription which he advertises on his YT videos, those aren't taken down. He just can't also monetize those videos because they're against YT's terms of service and whatnot.

Right. He's gotten more subscribers and "mug club" members out of this . . .

His views aren't giving them any money from ads anymore. He's earned for what he did over the years but now he isn't generating further revenue so why should he continue to get more money? YT thinks his content is antithetical to their brand. He can still keep his videos on the platform, for now at least, but he isn't entitled to monetary compensation. I think its a fair middle ground.

I just find it really bizarre that a video gets reviewed/approved by YT and is up for years . . . then someone whines about it. YT can't explain what part of their ToS is violated and still demonitizes him.

I'd say Crowder isn't the problem at this point though. All of the other small content creators who were caught up in this are the real issue that needs to be addressed.

Crowder has like almost 4 million subscribers . . . and 3 of his last 5 videos have over 1 million views.

Bro....YouTube is way fucking bigger than that.

Crowder is nothing in the grand scheme of things...so no, there isn't this huge alienating of 50 percent of the people, like that guy I replied to claimed.

So? I was simply pointing out it was slightly more than 250k . . .

Sheesh.

Bro.

Do you honestly think Steven Crowder has the same level of talent or puts on a program of equal quality as John Oliver?

That was so not the point.

Do you honestly think that comedians of all walks of life don't cater to the lowest common denominator of fans?

Sheesh.

I think some of y'all could work for Vox.
