I'm reminded of Trump in 2015 saying he's thinking about running for President.
It was perceived to be a joke.

Then he announced he's running for President, and it was still perceived to be joke.

Then every news show wanted to interview him because he was instant high ratings, because Trump is entertaining. Always has been.
And his poll numbers started to rise, and he wasn't a joke.

I can see a similar formula for Steven A Smith, especially since his main competition is Gavin Newsom.
I'm not convinced AOC is going to run because she looks like she's going to continue to climb the rungs of the House Leadership.

Any thoughts?

Worst commentator in all of sports , never heard him make an original observation or cogent argument, he's an air bag so he may actually have a shot

Someone needs to post him attempting to box. ..

The guy barely knows sports, which is what he allegedly specializes in.

You're not wrong.
But at the same time, he'd be an exciting candidate.
What other candidate on the Democrat Bench would be 'exciting?'

he has been saying this for years. He doesn't really want to be President, he wants to clout chase like Vivek Ramiswamy and drop out after being on the primary stage. He's an egomaniac shitlib.

It is still a joke and will remembered as a joke.

Nobody replicated Trump, because it only works for him and no historian will be able to explain why it worked.Stephen E is small and looks like he would end up as a gimp in a Tarantino movie, so nope.

Stephen A was the goat election commentator imo

I just want a milquetoast, come to do good, stayed to do well career politician who isn’t 74+ years old. Non rapist/diddler preferred if that's even still an option

We just desperately need 4 years of bland, by the numbers leadership.

Just to give everyone a chance to catch their breath and re-group.

We've been slamming street grade unhinged intravenously and raw dogging street urchins for 12 years straight as a collective populace. It's done a number on our neural pathways lol

I can see Sen Van Hollen, Sen Kelly, Sen Ossoff, or AOC beating him in primaries.
I was one who called for Kelly (or Wes Moore) this last time, but everyone told me how nobody knew who he was, how huge the turnouts were for Harris's rallies, and how I was dumb to think anyone but Kamala was the safe bet.

I think Van Hollen winds up as somebody's VP (AOC). Kelly is a solid "common sense" pick that will appeal to disaffected centrists and center right voters who dont like New Right illiberalism.

Ossoff and AOC are young, it might be a cycle or two before we see their runs
