These guys shortened their lives for some pocket change. Bosse got the shorter half of 2,500.

Wonderboy got paid 5,000.

What will happen when the UFC sells? Changes? Same shit?

Didn't they get a bonus?

These 2 are lucky to be in the ufc at all imo.

Plus they got fotn.

They did fine for who they are.

Lets hope these new owners kick Reebok into the gutter where it belongs.

Reebok gone kraft in.

Giving them that cheese.

if they wanted a better sponsor, they would be in the NBA

Do you really think anything changes if the UFC sells? The UFC has been around while all the other orgs fail for 1 reason.. They have a business model that works..Whether you agree with it or not doesn't matter. If the new owners come in and want to make money they will do the same thing.

They also earned $50,000 each based on their performance.

Their Reebok pay would not have changed even if the fight ended up as a no contest (fairly certain), draw, six second ko, or wall and stall horrible fight. Is this the first you're learning of the Reebok contract? Also, I would imagine it would stay with the UFC if it is indeed sold.

How do you figure? Bosse is 12-2, O Connell was 17-6 before that fight. These guys are comfortably in the top 30% of guys in the UFC

So your under the illusion they are elite?

Come on man

Daaaaaam.I used to make the same amount in tips when i was 20 carrying luggages. If i knew there were easier ways to make that money i would have trained harder!

Oh come on, hate Reebok without dragging two dudes who just put on a show for us into it.

Leave Bosse and O'Connell for threads about amazing fights or warrior spirit.

It's a joke what most of these fighters are paid.

Some seriously greedy folks at the top are laughing all the way to the bank, while the fighters who are leaving their blood, sweat & tears in the cage, and who are the REASON fans tune in to the sport and spend money, are being paid chump change.

Fucking pathetic.

REEBOK hands the UFC a lump sum and the UFC chooses how to distribute the money, do the math...

When was the last time you saw anyone even wearing reebok in the gym?

I wonder if their UFC presence raised their profile at all other than point, chuckle, and disgust. The UFC / Reebok deal seems like their last gasp of air before dying.

I'm not sure those were the numbers, but if so, this is a real problem. I'm starting to think you have to be either delusional or very poor to try an MMA career. The sport will only have elite athletes when they're taking all sorts of shortcuts to get there, like Lesnar. A sane person and especially a good athlete with career choices is not gonna bother.

Those guys sure deserve extra cash. Reebok obviously won't do it, but Dana should.
