I think it was him trying to go viral to get younger people to watch his speech, who typically wouldn’t be open to bannon or listen to him.

It was at CPAC, Musk has/had been trending for his talk with Milei at CPAC. What better way to show up in the feed of the tech bro type and young people musk brought into the movement than copy him.
