Stephen Thompson could be sidelined for 6 months

Medical suspensions mean nothing. He could be cleared tomorrow lol all it means is he can't fight until then unless he speaks with a doctor first.

Yea, doubtful it's actually serious. They just do that if they have a potential sprain, fracture, etc.

Like others said that doesn't actually mean he will be out that long, I figure he fights Lawler in 4-5 months

He was able to do his flips. Or maybe that flip really messed it up for him haha.

He wont be out that long.

Im not going to say the obvious which everyone else has already said.

If there is a fracture or a sprain the UFC has great doctors whom they use. He will heal fast just due to top notch medical care.

OSP's seemed quite a bit worse - hope that's noting much either.

ding ding ding ding dnig.

All of those god damned suspension articles are meaningless garbage.

Yeah 4-5 months. Not sure he's getting Lawler right away tho...

That's just standard practice by the commission and only means he needs to get checked out thoroughly by a doctor. If a doctor signs off then the suspension is lifted. Unless there is something really wrong that we don't know about he should be ready to in a couple of weeks at most.

Medical suspensions almost always start at 6 months. Once you've healed, you can get it lifted, regardless how quickly.

Fucking sprains can be a real bitch.
