I've been getting into Stephen King's work lately and I have to say it is pretty fucking great. from what I've seen so far. My question is, what are some of the Stephen King book that you recommend reading? So far I've read IT, listened to The Shining and Carrie on audio, and I'm currently reading Pet Sematary.
What SK books should I read/listen to next? Let me know, Sherbros.

The dark tower is his best stuff imo. The stand is worth it. Beyond those i find clive barker to be a more rewarding. King has his moments though and the dark tower is one of the best stories ever.

Thanks, at some point I do plan on reading the Dark Tower series. I want to read The Stand as well, but I'm going to have to get prepared for a long ride first. Because it look me forever to read IT, and from what I understand The Stand is even longer than IT.

11 22 63 is really good, about time travel and trying to stop the Kennedy assassination

The Stand is great.. up until a certain point. Then it goes off the rails and gets pretty cheesy imo.

Really enjoyed The Long Walk (1979)
realeased under is pseudo Richard Bachman.

New Line cinema announced they would make the movie version in 2019.

Yeah know, I hear that a lot about Stephen King's work, but so far I've enjoyed all his stories from beginning to end. So I will probably enjoy The Stand a lot too.

Salem's Lot
His collection of short stories are all pretty solid

Cool, King wrote a few books under the Richard Bachman pseudonym from what I understand. I'm sure I will end up reading them all at some point.
Well, lets hope it is better then the Darker Tower movie.

I really like The Stand. Get the unabridged version, it's great.

The Long Walk isn't that long to read tbh.
Pocket book type stories.
Highly recommend.

Yeah, I plan on read the unabridged version of The Stand at some point. But chances are it will take forever for me to read it because it took me ages to read IT and The Stand is even longer than IT lol.

The ones I’ve read that you haven’t mentioned are:

Cujo
Christine
The Eyes of the Dragon
Firestarter
Misery

All good reads.

I've seen most of the movies that were based on those books, I liked them a lot.
I'm sure I will like reading the books even more.

IMO The Talisman is a great book that gets little mention. I loved it. The follow up, "Black House" is good too and let's you linger in the world a little longer.

Plenty of classics to choose but I recommend The Talisman and enjoy a great book that's not always on the recommended list.
