Wtf? Thats really sad. Bonnar seemed like a very likeable guy back in his UFC days. Does anyone know what happened?

Condolences to his family…

I met him in 2012. He was a pretty funny guy…

His fight with Griffin is what pushed MMA into the mainstream. A lot of people remember Griffin because of it, but it takes two to tango, and he was the perfect dance partner to make it such a memorable war.

Wow news hit hard, Bonnar is partly responsible for the ufc blowing up like it did...so the mma world is feeling it now


Still so young, yea he was into booze but I didn't see him perishing so quickly. How did it happen? so many people passing away and whenever you have any questions, you get silenced and censored.

He was not looking good last year, had two videos where he was under the influence of narcotics. One he was begging a hospital for more and they called the cops to kick him off the property.

I was really hoping he could get the help he needed. This is a sad story.

RIP Bonnar, without your brawl with Forrest the UFC might not be where it is today.

That's terrible news.
Stephan played a big role in making the UFC the success it is today, it's very sad that fighters even of that importance clearly don't get the support they need once their careers are over.

According the UFC website he passed away Thursday from presumed heart complications while at work. Absolutely terrible.
