I'll never understand why people reference fights that happened years ago.. Elite fighters evolve and get better.Fighters like Struve get stuck in neutral (and there are so many of them..... it's just the way it works).
If Stipe and Struve fought again, MIocic would be an ENORMOUS favorite.

Struve took a lot of damage after his fights against Hunt and Browne. I'm surprised he's still fighting. Miocic would win today if they were to fight, no doubt.

yeah i guess i just see struve as a fairly fragile giant. Kinda like bigfoot. I guess its just the "where are they now" syndrome. Looking back you think wow THAT guy KO'd the champ? not a fair assessment for sure but stilll lol

stipe won the first round

he also refused to take a top position on struve at least two times in the fight

not only was stipe green as it was, he made a few mistakes and respected struve too much

dont think struve has his number, im not sure he could ever beat stipe again. but he did look damn good in that fight regardless.
