I don't like this kind of thing. Adults need to hold themselves to higher standards, especially elected officials. But even just normal adults who are in positions of leadership really need to be setting a better example. There are a hundred ways she could have expressed the same feelings with the same passion without using foul language.

Recent politics has shown that decorum and avoiding crass language gets one nowhere. Yes it is sad but that's the zeitgeist we live in now.

@Ripskater doesn't really post here to engage in discourse, its pretty clear he's a troll whose main purpose is to actually poison what discourse does happen with threads like these. That's why he often has minimal involvement in them beyond very brief posts that often dodge most of the points addressed to him.

Well yeah I mean our president just lays a big banner on the table with “sanctions are coming” GoT style and no one bats an eye. That’s where we are now. I’m not as critical as most since I think Trump has done some* good, but I’ve never seen a person rile up people like Trump. Sure it’s funny and entertaining sometimes, but it’s scary how many politicians are trying to emulate him. In all fairness to rip you did but Trump him there...a little bit haha

Nah, it makes perfect sense to bring up Trump. It would like criticizing Trump for collateral damage from the drone program and getting mad at someone for bringing up the fact that Obama basically pioneered it.

To complain about her lack of class despite him being one of Trump's more loyal sycophants on this forum reeks of hypocrisy. He could've headed that criticism off in the OP by also criticizing Trump and decrying the general vulgarity in our political discourse. Mexico is paying for the wall. The new trade deal + the BILLIONS of $ sent back each year our of our economy by illegal aliens will more than cover it. Beyond that, we should save BILLIONS annually on: health care, prisons, education, law enforcement, and infrastructure costs accrued by illegal aliens.
