I think "Nazi" in this context is just being used as an euphemism for "White Supremacist". And having Jewish grandchildren does not preclude him from a White Supremacist as there are White Supremacist Jews. He also gets called a "Nazi" because he appeals to that Nazi / KKK / Stormfront type.
