Need a better source for such an audacious claim

I hear you but I trust this guy. He has an opinion but I have never caught him lying about anything intentionally. He posts a document in the video showing Starbucks policy on this.

I don't see why what appears to be a scheduling app (with weekly schedules and time off requests) would require admin access.
Couldn't find who did the app for them.

That is the scary part. Way too much access and no need for that access in a company run by a Billionaire who is involved politically....

Just no.....

Should always have at least one burner anyway.
mhmm, yep just give them access to your new work phone

It’s actually you that’s projecting. Trying to characterize/label instead of trying to understand. Another byproduct of fear. As if what you take seriously represents any standard of truth.

"So don't work for Starbucks."

Walmart starts demanding it.

"So don't work at Starbucks or Walmart."

Amazon starts demanding it.

"So don't work at Starbucks, Walmart or Amazon."

It becomes the norm within every US corporation.

"So buy a cabin in the woods and live off the land. Just don't be scared, homie. Everything's cool. Chill out." - Joe265

Phone? Sorry, I must have lost it. No I won't be getting a new one.

I'm not sure if this lesbian is a reliable source but that's kind of fucked up. Doesn't sound like they can actually see anything on the phone though and can just lock it to not be used during work, but the ability to do a factory reset is ridiculous.

Nobody seemed to care when it was conservatives being censored on google, facebook, twitter, youtube and all the lefties replied with "They're private companies, build your own internet if you don't like it".

Kyle ranted on endlessly about the censorship that went on against conservatives FYI. He said you may like it now but you wont like it when it happens to you.

This guy is a reliable source by the way. I mean his opinions are just opinions but I have never known him to fabricate or lie like The Young Turks do.

I wasn't one of those lefties. I was one of the lefties telling libertarians and neo-liberal conservatives, years ago, that supporting corporate tyranny would eventually bite them in the ass.

I'm not that familiar with the guy. It kind of sounds like the problem is with the app itself, where it allows more than what the company wants it for, which would obviously lead to problems and abuses.

Just wanted to give you a heads up. He is a lefty so you wont like him BUT I have never heard him lie even once which is pretty impressive in this day and age.

Just because an App has the ability to delete and monitor your phone, it doesn't mean the employers have that ability by you using the app. Whoever is in this video is conflating these two things.

Come on guys, I would think fans of MMA and the UFC would get it.

This should not be surprising that it is happening.

Companies push, push, push until you push back, and then say OK, GTFO, and will only finally say you win if they can no longer operate at profit levels they desire. This requires enough people pushing back.

If you don't push back, they will just keep pushing you.

Until the American labor force pushes back, it is only going to get worse.

Not true. The employer has access to all of those functions through the app.
