STAR WARS VII v.5 (Terminally Ill Fan Passes Away After Wish Granted)

I like the Jar Jar idea. The only thing better to rustle jimmies would be have the sith lord be a black guy.

The guy that voiced jar jar was black. The time of Darth Jar Jar is upon us. The gungan fish monster rabbit thingy is a Sith Lord more powerful than Palpatine.

Good theory. But I find it just a little tough to swallow that Luke was some mastermind who figured, well, shit I can turn to the Dark Side and take out Vader and the Emperor in one fell swoop and then all the power is mine. I thought the whole thing about the turn to the Dark Side is it is sort of a quick and easy impulsive fall from grace.

If you're going to make the comparison between Palps playing Anakin by using Windu to force his hand and Luke using the Emperor to force Vader's hand, I don't really see it. Palpatine was a Sith for years and had calculated plans to take over the galaxy through a galactic empire. That's why I can completely buy that he played possum so that he could facilitate the conversion of Anakin to the Dark Side.

But for Luke to basically come up with some ingenious plan to take out the Emperor and Darth Vader by playing upon Vader's fatherly affection...mehh- seems too much to me. Occams razor in that case- Luke uses his hatred and fear to defeat his father in battle but rather than give the Emperor what he wants (killing Vader, much like Anakin killed Dooku), he refuses to go through with it because he shows restraint rather than follow the impulsive path to the Dark Side.

Now, if you're telling me Luke ended up going bad in the years after the Empire because, as the only Jedi, he had no checks on his power and became obsessed with it, I guess I could get on board with that. But I don't really buy the notion he turned in Return of the Jedi.

No man, the point is not that Luke "masterminded" or played Darth Vader and the Emperor to defeat them. I dont think turning to the dark side is a one time thing where you just switch and say "ok Im on the dark side now" .... as we saw on the case of Anakin it is a slow progression where you get seduced by the power of the dark side and little by little turn.

What Im saying is that we clearly see Luke turning to the dark side when he felt anger and fear by Vader threatening going after his sister, Luke used that anger and he WON, yes sure he then inmediately decided not to kill Vader and declared himself a Jedi, but he did go to the dark side even momentarily... I think the point we are trying to make is the movie finishes basically hours after this initial turning happened, yeah after that we see Luke all happy with Yoda and the other guys but we dont know what happened even the next day after these events, maybe Luke felt the power of the dark side for the first time that night and started getting seduced by it, hence saying we did see Luke already turning to the dark side at the end of Return of the Jedi, we could have seen the beggining of his slow turning so it would make perfect sense for him to be the bad guy in these new movies

Jar Jar Binks, the real puppeteer?

Daisy Ridley looks like Emma Watson crossed with Keira Knightly.

IM CALLING that the following scene will happen:

Just as the movie is about to finish Han, Leia and Chewie (and maybe somebody else) will be trapped into a life/dead situation with one of the main bad guys threatening to kill them, they have no way out, this is the end for them and suddenly after 2 hours of movie and many small teasers about Luke shown throughout the movie, Luke Skywalker is going to show up at the scene, the entire audience is going to think "finally where the hell have you been Luke? we've been waiting for you to save the day" Luke is going to start his lightsaber, he is going to pass the bad guy, stand in front of Han, Leia and Chewie and he is going to push that lightsaber with all his anger on the body of Han Solo, Han and Luke will look at each other as we see Han Solo struggling for his last breaths asking himself "why why" and Luke is going to let him die and fall with absolutely no remorse.

With that scene JJ Abrams will create the BIGGEST evil character in all Star Wars movies, NOBODY on eath, hell nobody in the Galaxy is going to forgive Luke for betraying and killing Han fucking Solo. This is going to set the tone and the story for the entire new trilogy. As bad-ass as Kylo Ren looks, they need a BIGGER and more powerful bad guy, who better than the new master of the force, the last Jedi alive, Luke Skywalker, NOW... shit we have story for a brand new trilogy

IM CALLING IT now, maybe not exactly as described on every detail but this scene will happen in one way or another.

there is no way in hell luke is going be bad

The only possible way that scene could be any cooler is if Hammil does his Joker Laugh while standing over Han's corpse.

Disney Screens THE FORCE AWAKENS for Terminally Ill Fan

The Force is strong with Daniel Fleetwood. Daniel was diagnosed with cancer and informed that he may not live long enough to see the new Star Wars. Since the franchise has meant so much to him, in good times and bad, he made a plea to Disney to let him see the film early. Well, the Magic Kingdom and Mr. Abrams didn't disappoint.

Daniel's wife Ashley has just relayed the good news that Disney provided her husband with a special screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens well before its December release. He even received a phone call from the film's director J.J. Abrams!

"To all our wonderful supporters, friends, family and awesome strangers: Daniels final dream was just granted!!!" his wife Ashley wrote on Facebook. "Today the wonderful Disney and Lucasfilms made his final dream come true, in the amazing typical Disney way, they really do make dreams come true! Daniel just finished watching an unedited version of Star Wars: The Force Awakens!!! We would like to thank the awesomely talented JJ Abrams for calling us yesterday to tell us Daniel was getting his wish granted!"

Mark Hamill, who of course plays Luke Skywalker, has been a huge proponent for the early screening for Daniel and he shared his excitement over the good news as well on Twitter.
