That's absurd. It was mentioned once in a crap tier movie and has now been dropped by Disney because is it was a dumb premise, therefore it is not cannon.

It's also believed that it was Darth Plagues that created Anakin anyway.

Palpatine said in episode III that plagueis could influence the midichlorians to create life...heavily implying that anikin was fathered by midichlorians by plagueis' design.

It's definitely in the prequels so surely it's cannon? (until they make a special edition lol).

Midichlorians exist in living cells and allow beings to control the force. That's why Anakin is special. He's chock full of them, so he should be the best force user eva. And if Midichlorians just decided to stop doing anything the people who could use the force wouldn't be able to use it that well. The Midichlorians cut off Anakin's force supply the moment he needed it and super fueled Rey's force supply when she needed it.

As for JJ Abrams, of course the current timeline characters wouldn't know squat about Midichlorians. Most people in the galaxy don't even think Jedi existed and the force is a myth. All the people who had knowledge of the Midichlorians are dead.

Everything is in the movies. It doesn't require EU stuff or meta explanations. It all makes sense, don't fight it. Just let it in.

Midichlorians are fact. It's in the movies. You don't have to like it. I don't have to like it. I don't like Palpatine monkey jumping around with a lightsaber, but that's fact too. He was intimidating during the first half of the movie, but when they started playing up his "conflicted" side, they kind of ruined him.

Clearly they were seen as a real threat if there was a resistance hiding from them and trying to stop them.

Skills with a staff doesn't automatically = skills with a lightsaber.

I don't see Ren as having tons and tons of fighting experience, but the fact is, he has SOME experience with both the force and a lightsaber, and that's more than Rey can say. By that point, if you go off the timeline stated in the film, Kylo had started training in the ways of the force YEARS prior to the start of the film.

As far as the lightsaber, there was no indication she got any HP from it during the fight. In ANH, we clearly heard Obi Wan encouraging Luke.

2. Kylo Ren was beat to fuck by getting shot with a superpowerful bowcaster then getting his shoulder sliced by Finn.
3. Kylo Ren is only an apprentice.
4. Kylo Ren had orders not to kill Rey. She had no such limits.
5. Kylo Ren had just killed his father.

Ren then realizes he was just a pawn for Snoke to awaken and retrieve Rey so he and Luke take on Rey/Reven and Snoke/Darth Plagueis in IX.

1. Nothing suggests she's ever been in a battle. As opposed to the Galaxy's #1 thug trained by the ultimate baddie, the supreme fucking leader.

5. This whole feud with Han Solo was fake. He was clearly ducking Luke Skywalker.
