Why is no one here buzzing about Bad Batch?

I'd rather they feature characters other than more and more clones with fancy names and color schemes.

Because the highly anticipated Clone Wars Season 8 was lame until the last 4 episodes.

'The Bad Batch' episodes made it clear they were going to give them their own show, and taking time out of what every fan actually wanted to see... Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ashoka - wasn't received well.

Same with the few episodes with Ashoka and the two annoying sisters. Waste of time.

But those four final episodes... gawdaym.... the best 80 minutes of Star Wars material Disney had produced.

Anyway, as for 'The Bad Batch' most fans couldn't care less. I heard they tried to copy & paste 'The Mandolorian' plotline with them rescuing and protecting a small and cute child of some kind.

Not interested.

Me & @Brother Evz talk about it all the time, we just can't be bothered as much now-a-days to discuss things with a resistance that hates everything & just likes to shit on everything so we've been discussing it in a PM.

I feel like bad batch is much better when I stack them. it's a big ask to wait an entire week for a series that isn't really hitting on the main action. I find them to be fun & entertaining side stories... but if you're looking for some big reveals or moving the main struggle along, then maybe it would be disappointing waiting week after week for these little side mission stories.

All good with me though and I expect they might be writting them into the main action before the end of season 1.

I've enjoyed the season so far

Bummed next friday, the 13th is the last episode for the season.

I am buzzing about it! I have been really enjoying it so far. I liked the Cad Bane appearance, I like the lizard lady from the bar and I like the batch themselves a lot.

They should have made the season all about 4 way fight with Batch vs Fennec vs Cad Bane vs Crosshairs.
 
After Bad Batch season finale and What If, what else is on Disney+ to warrant keeping it?

When is Obi Wan's show starting?
 
its still filming and not until next year.
Book of Boba in december I think?
 
I think the next Star Wars on D+ is the Japanese cartoon style show Visions dropped all at once and a podcast said some will be canon and some won't be.
 
I saw a voice actor list for Star Wars Visions and a few very good looking actresses, as well as I think the guy from FF Tokyo Drift. I think the Japanese voices might have the actress who did Goku's voice, I could be wrong.

I wonder if any of the hot actresses might get cast in live action if their characters crossover.
 
This Star Wars Japanese cartoon looks so dynamic. More excited about this than for Bad Batch.

Controversial opinion but they should have found someone different for Ahsoka. Dawson is so rigid and clunky. They should have found a female Ray Park to play her part or superimposed Dawson's face over someone else.

You look at the Phantom Menace Ray Park vs Clone Wars Maul and Ahsoka in the Mandalorian vs the Clone Wars. And yes I know she was using Style V against Magistrate, but she just didn't sell it enough for me.
