What is your favorite Stormtrooper variant ?
(clone troopers are acceptable, but Royal Guard+ level are not...yes they were Stormtroopers at one point...but it's my poll/discussion)

Some pretty cool variants, but I like Scout Troopers mainly because of the Speeder bikes

Wanna say Purge Troopers but they might be over levelled for your discussion.

I quite liked the dude who Finn fought in Force Awakens who had the energy baton thing. A riot trooper perhaps.
 
I'm picking the Radiation Zone Stormtroopers

First saw them in the old Star Wars RPG and found the concept rather interesting.

They get deployed to planets with either high naturally recurring radiation or those that have been intentionally irradiated to mop up resistance. Because blasters tend to fuck up in high radiation areas, they are trained in melee weapons, especially those that will damage a survival suit. Knowing if their silver and black armor is penetrated they're gonna die a slow painful death, they're some badasses.

I like the snowtroopers. I just think they look so scary and they appear so rarely.

I also had a strange journey with Star Wars and seeing them when I did was very impactful. I saw Star Wars first from a taped VHS with commercials on it. A New Hope. Then I saw Return of the Jedi. I didn't see Empire until I was a bit older, like 8 years old vs 4 years old. I had no idea a third Star Wars film existed. When I first saw Empire I told some neghbhourhood kids about it, and I lied and said it was called "Lukamania". Seeing Luke fight Vader with the blue saber on the TV in my parents room, I freaked out.

I remember seeing the snowtrooper and being like "I have that toy!" - had the toy before I saw the uniform.

Favorite stormtrooper: Maybe Tattooine these aren't the droids you're looking for one with the pauldron, which are usually cool.
 
I liked the original white storm troopers but then they went woke and he took off his helmet. So the other white ones.......for now

Always thought the TIE Fighter pilots looked cool.


Also a fan of the OG Stormtroopers.
 
What a tragedy. The Star Wars Megathread isn't stickied anymore.

This reminds me of the time that A Song of Ice and Fire/A Game of Thrones thread was un-stickied.
