This is correct. The best movie of the bunch, Empire, is the one Lucas has the least personal involvement on. That says a lot. Director Irvin Kershner and producer Gary Kurtz made that movie as good as it was.I knew a guy who worked at Lucas Arts and he said that the reason the first three were so good is that George was surrounded by guiding mentors in Spielberg, I think, and others.
Then Star Wars essentially became something he had no obligation to- he was surrounded by yes-men.
All of the novels, comic books, and games from before the disney purchase, as well as the original clone wars series. All that was left as canon were the 6 movies, and the cgi clone wars series.So exactly what did the wipe out?
