Do you guys get star struck when you meet a legendary grappler or fighter? I usually don't but i did when I found myself sitting next to Rigan Machado after a seminar and I couldn't think of anything to say to him. I had a similar experience when I took a private with Marcelo Garcia after he won abu dabbi last year. So do you guys find this happening to you too? Really annoys me that I do it since they're people just like us. So how do you handle the presence of legends?

i sat next to and chatted with Don 'The Dragon' Wilson at an open table discussion film thing last year. i was star struck because i was talking with the star of "Ring of Fire," only the greatest movie ever made. he told me he could kick Matt Hughes' ass.

I met Wanderlei at Grappler's Quest in Vegas early in May. Practically shit my pants. I met Frank Mir and Randy Couture too.

There are just normal people man...

I treat them just i would treat anyone else. If they are cool to me, i am cool back. If not, no big deal...

I met Nog, Urijah Faber, Miguel Torres, Gonazaga, Monson, and a bunch of other people you heard of. Just talk to them like normal people and don't demand autographs/pictures and you will find they are cool as hell.

I rolled with Mario Yamasaki last Saturday. No lie. My buddy was actually pretty star struck but for some reason it wasn't really a big deal to me.

He kicked my ass BTW. He could tell that I was still pretty new so he kind of goofed around for a little bit. When he mounted me he hit me with a bunch of little elbows and was like, "What would you do if this was the UFC?"

Like I said before, I wasn't really star struck or anything but I guess I got a pretty cool story out of it.
