Smashville or Winnipeg from the West.

Pittsburg or Tampa from the East.

Who you think takes it ?
 
My prediction at the start of the year was Nashville vs Tampa with the press winning it all.

I'll stick with that.

Dark horse is Boston though

Just kidding. After a decade of watching them fail I fully expect them to make a gracious first or second exit.

(Being a Wash. DC native is worse than being a Browns fan) I avoided all message boards after Virginia got bounced in the 1st round of the NCAA because of this curse.
 
Portage and Main will be the biggest party come June. Book it monica's...

The white out is gunna be nuts either way.
 
Hmm after TO thrashed Nashville last night , i find myself questioning if maybe the kids could carry this team to the finals.
 
Jets will fall on their faces as usual. Caps are out in Round 2, as it is tradition.


My gut is saying Nashville, or Tampa. Both have the experience to back up their amazing records.

I expect my Leafs to make some noise, and perhaps get to the Conference Finals.

How legendary would a TO vs Peg finals be ?
 
I'm a Pens fan and it would be a miracle if they won it again this year. The defense is horrible and they have lost depth over the last two years.

Tampa or Trashville look really good this year.

To be fair, Pitts has never had a sexy D. Ever.

Theyve always been an offensive team.

The way Malkin's been playing also, i wouldnt be surprised at all or even upset if Pittsburg wins again.

Barring Edmonton getting Dahlin this year, no team will have 2 generational players like Crosby n Malkin on the same team for their prime years for few decades again.

While true, the defense and goaltending has stepped up in the playoffs when it mattered. Pens beat Trashville in the Finals with back to back shutouts in Games 5 and 6. Murray has also been inconsistent when healthy. Hopefully they get it going heading into the yoffs. Letang has been pretty bad this year too.

Having Malkin and Crosby means they always have a shot but that's asking quite a bit form them after back to back long gruelling seasons.
 
I hope the Preds get smashed in round 1 so all these country music fans can stop acting like they understand hockey just cause a Nashville team is doing well.



^^^^If they can get everyone back healthy for the start of the playoffs, I choose the Bruins.
