Oh I thought Cerrone knocked him down, not that Yancy slipped. That makes more sense so it makes no sense still.

Too much. Hug and high five before and after the bell rings. Not during a competition where the goal is to inflict pain on each other.
 
I feel Yancys respect for Cerrone could have cost him a little that fight (psychologically)

Cerrone uses the hugging and friendship as a form of mental combat. Go back and re-watch Matt Brown/Cerrone, at the beginning of the 3rd we get a hug followed shortly after by a KO.

It's just a tactic.​
