Spiderman in MCU - will it work?

Will this new Spiderman be the best and work out well in MCU?

And will he have Toby McGuire natural webs or the proper web cartridges ?

The thing about Spider-Man is he's been done to death in 5 recent films over the years .... the MCU has been giving many key players their first film appearance: Iron Man, Thor, Cap (nobody remembers the shitty old attempts) and breathed new life into Hulk in the Avengers.

This is the first time they are working with a character who's been in so many films leading to their introduction in the shared universe.

Do you think this Spiderman will be the best and finally be done with great results?

I hope my wife gets on board, she HATES Spiderman and isn't happy he's in Cival War, but is interested in the rest of the movie :)

Hopefully he can change her mind!
 
am i the only one who really enjoy Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2.

Like seriously, i don't get the hate that those movie get, they both are awesome.
 
I don't like Spidey anyway so w/e.

I did thoroughly enjoy Spiderman 2

Spiderman 1 is OK but can't get past some seriously corny dialogue, that horrible Green Goblin costume and the lack of web shooters.

Was also annoyed how the Dr Octopus arms were sentient and controlled the guy ... but whatever - that movie was very fun regardless
 
I am a giant Spiderman fan. If they nail him in Civil War I will shoot my load all over the movie theater web-shooter style.

It's reported Spider-Man/Peter Parker is only in about 30 minutes so that's only about 1/5th of the movie.
 
Looking forward to him in Civil War but sad we won't be getting the Punisher and Spidey scene from the comic.
 
I liked Garfield tbh, I'm a bit bummed those films didn't work out. With Marvels current track record it seems extremely unlikely that they'll drop the ball.
 
The casual watchers have no concept of different universes I think, some of my friends couldn't wrap their heads around the fact that batman in Batman vs Superman isn't the same one as in TDK trilogy, even after explaining to them it's like James Bond. I actually have a fear people won't know the new Rogue One movie is a prequel, as I don't think they've explicitly stated it as such in the trailer.

When is Rogue One actually set? I couldn't figure it out from the trailer, it seems like it's either before A New Hope or in between Empire and Jedi.
 
Wouldn't it be before new hope? The film is about them stealing the plans they used to destroy the death star with right?

There were parts i liked about Tobey's spiderman (i actually liked the web shooter style), but i think Garfield played him better, more emotion, more unsure of himself in bad situations, he was also comical like how spidey is in the comics. The only crappy thing was how uncle ben doesn't say his most infamous line, it's completely butchered. They mess up the gobby horribly and the entire sinister 6 looks like a mecha zoid robot war. Just dumb really. I'm glad they got the gwen stacy part correct though since the original spiderman failed at that and spiderman 3 NEVER HAPPENED DAMNIT!.

I have no idea how to take this new spidey so im going into it openly and hoping for the best. Are they doing peter parker or myles morales? That may change how i view it.

As seen below my original post. Spidey gets his ass handed to him by some villains, Punisher shows up smokes them and brings Spidey to Cap's side for med treatment and eventually Spidey defects to team Cap.
