Bokeem Woodbine to Play a Villain in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

Bokeem-Woodbine-Spider-Man-Homecoming-Dragonlord.jpg

It looks like Bokeem Woodbine is the newest talent reportedly signed on to star in Spider-Man: Homecoming if this tweet has anything to say about it.

There is no official word yet from either Marvel or Sony confirming the actor's involvement with the project as of yet, but a local TV personality tweeted about her run-in with actor in Atlanta, GA not long ago.

The American actor, 43, is probably best known for his work on Riddick as Moss or in Fargo as Mike Milligan. Bokeem has starred in films such as Spike Lee's Crooklyn and Vondie Curtis-Hall's Gridlock'd. The actor has even been nominated for his work on Fargo by the Critic's Choice Awards and the Black Reel Awards.

[Update: The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Bokeem Woodbine has joined the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Character details are scarce, but sources say Woodbine joins Michael Keaton and Logan Marshall-Green as a villain.]

His advice to Peter: straight jackin saves you that mad cream!

Cool. I will try to read it when I have the time. Thanks.

I remember geeking out hard when Cameron was attached to make a Spider-Man movie in the early 90s.

A lot of it ended up in Raimis Spider-Man, but there's some really cool stuff we haven't seen. Not too sure how I would have felt about Eddie Furlong as Pete, but maybe Cameron could have pulled it off.

Saw an instagram rumor that Mando will be playing Carnage. I hope that means we him as Cletus rather than full on sybmiote Carnage.

Yeah, it's from heroic Hollywood's ig page. Like I said, rumor mill at this point but an interesting topic to talk about. I always thought Dr. Cox would have been a PERFECT Cassidy.

I can see it now. lol

I'm going to mark out if I see Carnage or even Cassidy.

Introducing Morales in MCU would be incredibly dumb. How would they explain him considering he's from an entirely different universe?

First Look at Spider-Man's New Suit from SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Set Photos

Looper has some exclusive photos of Tom Holland wearing the red and blue on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming. According to sources, Holland arrived on the set in Atlanta, Georgia, at around 7 a.m. on June 27 to film two scenes, shooting for about 12 hours that day. The first was a bus scene, where the kids take a trip to Washington D.C.

These photos, however, come from the second scene, in which Spider-Man runs alongside a cement truck and jumps onto it. The running scenes reportedly will be completed using CGI, but the action scenes where Spider-Man jumps onto the truck were pure Holland, and not a stunt double. This is even more impressive considering that the temperatures in Atlanta hit 100 degrees Fahrenheit during filming.

Yeah suit looks bad without all the CGI they add onto it

I wouldn't worry about it.

Not feeling the black around SM legs and arms as well as the new design on his pants. Also, you're trying to save this franchise from 2 reboots already. Don't start it off with one of the weakest villains in Spider-Mans rogue's gallery-The Vulture. Start it off with a proper Rhino or Kraven the Hunter. Need a bad ass villain with good action.

I like the new suit, though not as much as the ASM2 version. I think it's a slightly better costume than the Civil War version.

When the first footage of Spider-Man was shown in the Civil War trailer, I wasn't really too thrilled with how his suit looked. But it looked really good in action when I finally saw the actual movie. I think it's going to be a similar situation with the Homecoming suit. Once you see the movie, it'll be great.

Yeah, Vulture is a weak villain (on paper as of now). But at this point, I trust Marvel with Homecoming. I'm sure we'll see an upgraded and more bad-ass version of the Vulture. And for me, it's the other aspects of Spider-Man's world that I'm more concerned with Marvel getting it right - Peter's personality (check as shown in Civil War), his high school life, his friends, his relationship with friends and romantic interests and the overall story.

At least they're sparing us the origin story.

Carnage is gonna appear out of nowhere? No Venom?
