Bokeem Woodbine to Play a Villain in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING
It looks like Bokeem Woodbine is the newest talent reportedly signed on to star in Spider-Man: Homecoming if this
tweet has anything to say about it.
There is no official word yet from either Marvel or Sony confirming the actor's involvement with the project as of yet, but a local TV personality tweeted about her run-in with actor in Atlanta, GA not long ago.
The American actor, 43, is probably best known for his work on
Riddick as Moss or in
Fargo as Mike Milligan. Bokeem has starred in films such as Spike Lee's
Crooklyn and Vondie Curtis-Hall's
Gridlock'd. The actor has even been nominated for his work on Fargo by the Critic's Choice Awards and the Black Reel Awards.
[Update:
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Bokeem Woodbine has joined the cast of
Spider-Man: Homecoming. Character details are scarce, but sources say Woodbine joins Michael Keaton and Logan Marshall-Green as a villain.]
