All charges were dropped without prejudice by the prosecutor yesterday during my pretrial because they did not have sufficient evidence to actually take it to trial.

Long story short, some guy rear ended my vehicle in a parking lot. Got into a heated shouting argument. The guy rushed me and we got into a fight. Cops were called, I got charged with assault in the 3rd degree.

The bail was set at $20,000 which meant I only needed $2000 to get a bond and get out but I am too broke (student) so I sat in jail for basically a month. Learned a lot about the judicial system, how cops operate and realized that I didn't belong in jail. Ask me anything.

Well let me get it out of the way. Were you raped? Did you rape someone? Did you try to get rape?

This will go south quickly.

Also, I missed the last 5 weeks of school which means I am going to have to drop out for the quarter. Waste of money and time. I guess I should get a job since the next quarter doesn't start until April and I don't want to do nothing for the next two months.

How is the food in there? Is it decent quality? Do you get enough? Is it nutritionally balanced and sufficient?

Thats sucks man hopefully everything works out for you

did any inmates try and fuck with you?

Rape is impossible. There are guards and cameras everywhere. Plus it's lockdown for 18 hours a day. The showers are in plain view of the guard station so it's not possible. Also prisoners are really good at chess. Even really thuggish looking hoodlums with tatts schooled me in chess.

Did you get your ass kicked? That would suck. Get your ass kicked, and go to jail.

Next time, walk away man.

The food is terrible. You can't digest the stuff. I had horrible constipation for the first two weeks. The best thing they give you is fresh fruit (once or twice a week) it's mostly canned fruit.

Did you get a prison tattoo?
Did you crawl through a river of shit and come out clean on the other side?

Did you make any prison wine?

What county and state are talking about?

Bout time you made your own thread. Kidding of course, what happened to the other guy?

There's really nothing to ask, aint shit going on in county.

Yeah. Most of the hardened criminals are waiting to be transferred to state or federal prisons so they have their own section. The people I was locked up with were mostly there for drug related charges, burglary or assault. Lots of domestic violence cases too. Though apparently 2 days before I got there some guy got shanked waiting in line for food because he was a sex offender and refused protective custody.
