Speed bag?

Im just wondering what benefits you'll gain from a speed bag,

I've had one laying around in the basement for a while and I put it up yesterday. So I wonder if any of u know what a speed bag is good for, and diffrent drills.

i believe benefit is that you learn to relax your shoulders. Also, helps work on timing

I've always said it should have been called a timing bag works timing more than speed IMO

Teaches you to keep your arms up imo. Hitting it for any extended period gives you sore shoulders.
