My take is that he's probably has injuries. Throw years and years kicking people almost to death he jacked up his knees and ACLs.

Nethertheless I don't have any evidence to back this claim up.

Either that, or his fight IQ somehow got worse over the years.

You dont have any evidence to back up that he has leg injuries but you think he has them?

Ego.

He used to box people up, then McGregor and Max showed him black belt level hands.

he got too old and worn out for mma and he has faced more well rounded fighters than before. The older the sport gets the better talent we will see in the cage.

Honey Combs cereal was weird but I used to really like it back in the day.

People change their fighting styles due to injuries. He was a killer with those kicks.

Nope there are logical reasons for why he stopped.

VS Conor: Didn't have time, got KO'd immediately. Probably close to a 100% he'd have thrown them had he been given a chance considering Conor's stance

VS Frankie: Was boxing him up anyways and had no reason to risk his point lead by throwing a leg kick and giving up the TD edgar was looking for.

Vs Max: Got viciously countered with a right hand when he threw them and decided he'd rather not get hit like that if he could avoid it. In the second fight he did throw them until the pace and pressure started to tire him and he stopped in an attempt to conserve energy

Seriously guys?

It's because people expect him to.

Max isn't the guy to do that against since he's a long guy with good timing with his jab and Frankie was looking for the takedown.

It could be back injuries as well.

You can't throw your hip into a kick if you have lower back issues.

Nah, I think he's still butthurt from the Conor 13 sec loss and want to show the world that he too can knock people out with his fists. Things are not going Aldo's way though..

I haven't gather any data, but it seems like EVERYBODY is throwing less leg kicks. They are easier to count now. Just like you see less pure BJJ now. The fight game is a living, evolving entity.

You are both wrong.
Obviously he doesn’t want to end up like Anderson

people expected him to for ages man, but he sneaked them in at the end of combos and all sorts of shit, it was beautiful to watch
