Hey everybody,
There are lots of bromances happening in the masters division. One of our true warriors, Paul Nava (head coach and owner of Ares/Nava bjj in Arizona) just had a heart attack. This dude is a legit killer. Competing and coaching like a banshee. I just wanted to ask for some thoughts and prayers for him, his family, and his students.
There are not too many of us old guys (masters 5) still competing.
Paul keeps me on my toes. We’ve only gone head to head once and it was a fun war.
I’m pulling for him to make a full recovery and get back on the mats. Whether or not we ever compete again, I am a big fan of Paul’s.
