I was thinking earlier about who in the UFC is a southpaw but known for having scary leg kicks. I feel like when you have an opposite side match-up (orthodox vs. southpaw) it's definitely harder to land the leg kick to the inside which kinda inhibits the low kick game. There has to be a few southpaws known for their leg kicks, I'm just completely blanking out for some reason

RDA had some good inside leg kicks from that position

Dudes who know how to properly use their legs can do it from either side...but a lot of time you need to have grown up with a traditional martial art as a background. Think Shevchenko or Wonderboy, Cro Crop, can kick your face in with either leg.

Imagine if prime mike tyson was a southpaw kick-boxer?!

Jamie pull that up

are we strictly talking about leg kicks to the head or leg kicks to other body parts too?

Adesanya is great at kicking low in southpaw.

It is easier to catch/defend lowkick Southpaw vs Orthodox and in orthodox vs orthodox it is easier to catch/defend the rear body roundhouse IMO.

Adesanya is probably the best RN.

A fighter who loved that move was A.Silva, unfortunately that eventually became his undoing.

If you're just looking for effective leg kickers in opposite stance match ups, watch gaethje vs. Johnson and poirier. Gaethje doesn't care what stance you're in.

Also, re-watch volkanovski vs max. volk was attacking Max's leg regardless of what stance max took.
