One is coming off 2 losses and the other is coming off 1 loss and these guys are the headliners?

They are the coaches of the Aus vs UK TUF series, hence the fight card, hence the headline fight :)
 
Palhares vs Lombard is def the most relevant fight, but its probably going to end in the round one so it doesnt really matter.
 
This is evidence of the watering down of cards.

The ufc is smart.

Once they get us hooked, no matter what the feed us, people will still eat it up.

But here comes the guys defending every single thing zuffa does no matter what.
 
Lombard won 30 fights in a row, and then had basically a tie in his FIRST UFC fight against a top 10 guy. He should be the main event against Tim Creadure. Palhares is a bit better than Creadure IMHO. Anybody with a brain knows what the main event here is. It is teh one fight that really matters at it's weight.

The best thing anybody on this card has done in tjeor last three fights is Pierce KOing Simpson, and Lombard beating Schlemenko.
 
It's a good fight between two good fighters who have lost to good fighters recently.

in this particular instance that's true. But the guy has a point. The cards haven't been that great since they've spread themselves so thin with their events every ten days :p
