It is very difficult to feel any sympathy for this dude.

He fucked over a lot of people in Canada whether it be financially, emotionally, even physically (by putting students that were not ready in fights)

He has also done this aww shucks woe is me rock bottom song and dance bullshit before.

The only reason I believe that he’s not back in the thread is because of the people who questioned him and his past.

Rest assured he will be back one day, and I am guessing that he will use the Anderson Silva/jon jones dick pill strategy where he will admit to something embarrassing to try to cover up some other stupid story.

In the end, he’s out for himself only, and he’s looking for handouts.

I try really hard to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but I have a difficult time seeing this guy give answers that remotely resemble the truth. I've worked with a couple too many people with similar personalities

Here’s a quick update. Spoke to Joshua for about half an hour today. I won’t go into detail what the conversation was about because honestly, it’s pretty sad the path this young man is headed down. He wholeheartedly believes what he wrote when he asked for help. I won’t go into detail, but the mafia is not after him. If they were I’d be dead too because he pointed out all the mafia guys around us while we were talking. He changed hotels today and is definitely free to move about. He can return to Canada if he so chooses. He is choosing to stay in Thailand. He is able to go the embassy if he chooses to. I told him he should write a message to Sherdog because a lot of guy were legitimately concerned, but he said he won’t until he’s out of Thailand. This man needs some intervention, but sadly, I don’t think he has anyone in Thailand who cares enough about him to do so. Frankly, I don’t see this ending well for him unless he gets help. He is definitely not hanging out with people of any benefit to him...and worse, will probably take him down a dark road. I won’t be seeing him after today’s meeting. The help he needs is beyond anything I can or am willing to provide. I just asked for a short list of things to get him going and wished him well. Out of respect for his privacy, I’ll leave it at that. It was a good reminder that behind every screen name is a human being with real life day to day issues...He mentioned one sherbro he was messaging with on Instagram paid for a night at the hotel he is at. I’m guessing it was @GearSolidMetal. Good deed. The guy didn’t even have a pair of pants to wear. Sorry for the vague update, but like I said, I think it’s best to leave the conversation I had with him in privacy. Good looking out sherbros.

I haven't really been down any dark roads but I've seen plenty of friends and SOs who have and I realized this after about the 5-6th person. The last person I remember I didn't push in anyway. She simply talked about rehab and how none of her friends think she needs to go. I said it point blank, I think you need to go, your "friends" are only trying to fuck, and you think you need to go. Decision is yours though. Happy to say she actually ended up going to rehab, got out, had a baby, and seems to be doing well.

do your best to get back to Canada. It's been a while since you've been on an idyllic journey that you haven't even prepared for. Your sanity is even more at risk. you may and you have taken too many risks.

They do not know exactly what you are up to, they judge because they waste time and a lot of money somehow because of you. You know what kind of help you need, medical assistance, and you know Thailand is not going to bring you that.

Your high and low episodes, and general behavior left a lot of people perplexed and angry. The way you have managed your finances, your friendships, relationships, your business. Your call for help is real, and there will be others, I don't know if you will spend another year in these conditions.
People who know you worry about you, because they are human without necessarily forgiving your mistakes and all the shit you spread around.

You want to exist, better be alive and find the support you need. I doubt that Thailand is the right direction to take, despite your love of Muaythai.

Really, it does not matter. I know that you do not control everything, and people talk shit because they have no knowledge of these kind of issues you face, but I can tell. It does not matter. @Wormwood thanks
