I have a question about all the ladyboys in Thailand

Do people go see them because they are into ladyboys?
Or are they deceiving guys by pretending they are a woman and then it is more like a surprise when you take them home?

Here’s a quick update. Spoke to Joshua for about half an hour today. I won’t go into detail what the conversation was about because honestly, it’s pretty sad the path this young man is headed down. He wholeheartedly believes what he wrote when he asked for help. I won’t go into detail, but the mafia is not after him. If they were I’d be dead too because he pointed out all the mafia guys around us while we were talking. He changed hotels today and is definitely free to move about. He can return to Canada if he so chooses. He is choosing to stay in Thailand. He is able to go the embassy if he chooses to. I told him he should write a message to Sherdog because a lot of guy were legitimately concerned, but he said he won’t until he’s out of Thailand. This man needs some intervention, but sadly, I don’t think he has anyone in Thailand who cares enough about him to do so. Frankly, I don’t see this ending well for him unless he gets help. He is definitely not hanging out with people of any benefit to him...and worse, will probably take him down a dark road. I won’t be seeing him after today’s meeting. The help he needs is beyond anything I can or am willing to provide. I just asked for a short list of things to get him going and wished him well. Out of respect for his privacy, I’ll leave it at that. It was a good reminder that behind every screen name is a human being with real life day to day issues...He mentioned one sherbro he was messaging with on Instagram paid for a night at the hotel he is at. I’m guessing it was @GearSolidMetal. Good deed. The guy didn’t even have a pair of pants to wear. So after seeing that record I'm surprised he doesn't go just head first Beatrix Kiddo style and slay them like the crazy 88. That's how I see it playing out in my head anyways.

That is crazy -- honestly, he was a really nice kid when I knew and trained with him (he was just starting out). Mental health is no joke and for all the laughs this thread has brought it is sad to see someone who cannot see how far they've fallen (and he's in a foreign country with no close ties).

If you go to the original location he provided, the front desk guy (there from 8-4) will direct you to where he moved to. Yeah, it’s pretty sad. Still seems like a nice guy but his brain is definitely not functioning normally...whatever that means.

Youre the man, please stay safe and avoid further contact with him for a while. Youve done all you can do. You never know what these unstable people are capable of and what could happen to you. You could be in the crossfire for something related to him.
