it was a very hairy vag, and he did get banned for a few hrs while they tried to figure out wtf happened with his acct

During a forum raid the moderators were being overrun by offshooters or a script, basically the mods couldn't delete posts, threads or accounts fast enough.

In one of the threads Matt posted "Uncle" signifying that he was giving up trying to mod that shit.

Sherwood was also posting at that time and quoted Matt's "Uncle" post and responded with "Don't worry Matt, you're doing a great job"....

And that is how Matt become Jeff Sherwood's nephew and the only paid member of the moderating team.

In his longer post above, "He said, “Yeah….for now. Who are you?” I told him he posted a help message on Sherdog and had people worried. I asked him, “For now? What do you mean? Are you okay?” He responded, “Yeah…yeah, I’m okay.” I said, “Are you sure? You need anything?” He responded, “No, I’m good. I’m going to shower and get going,” He was somewhat mumbling and seemed half awake..."

When he first went there he posted several times and this was the most detail he provided,

I would have thought the "Yeah...for now" and "For now, what do you mean" parts might have been the most interesting elements of the discussion but he never mentioned them until well after the fact. Again, it's not a criticism. It just struck me as one more oddity in this pile of oddities. No offense intended to @Wormwood because I'm sure it's just how it goes with stuff like that--eye witness testimony that is--but they don't call me Captain Pedantic for nothing.

But really, the main thing that boggles my mind is still the total non-reaction to Wormwood showing up, like Luke Skywalker getting to the Death Star detention level, finding the princess, and being told, "Nah, I'm good."
