As others suggested try a different browser, I had the same issue and ad blockers seemed to make chrome a snail on my phone. Hopefully that works because having ads take up the top and bottom bulk portion of the screen are very annoying.

I ask because its getting very difficult to access and use the forums on my 10" tablet. If I am not near a laptop pretty much no point.

the bottom ad is a travesty. It's basically impossible to quote or use emojis with it there on my phone.

Yes it s a poor website. Adds are one problem, sometimes bit bugs and freezes, redirects to some sketchy trashy site. My favourite is when the frame suddenly jumps and you click on an add that is on the new frame.

But TBH the internet is becoming trash. Websites are clogged, embedded players, etc.

On pc? Switch to ublock origin if you are using Adblock. Adblock got cucked a couple years ago and sucks

Some browsers have built in ad blockers that shouldn’t be a resource hog. I suggest Opera and Brave browsers.

Firefox, ad blocker & use my phone all the time. No ad blocker & no platinum membership doesn't leave very many options. And, yes, the site is still shitty.
