If the Aldo that showed up in the Mendes fight comes at 200, I think Edgar loses Unanimously. However, with Aldo's recent KO loss....there seems to be a repeating pattern of champions/top guys going on a bit of a skid when they finally lose

I will be quite sad & more than a little surprised if Aldo gets ko'd by Edgar. Never really liked Edgar. He was always a whiner at LW.

Just to add on this. I think that the KO is gonna be on his mind no matter what display of confidence he tries to put on. I think it was a mistake on Aldo's part to jump in with a top guy right away. Edgar is a man possessed right now and I think Aldo gets gunshy leading to a late stoppage by Edgar.

i can picture frankie dancing for 5 rounds and winning a bad judges decision, thats about it.'

aldo beat him 4/5 rounds before

Yeah honestly something does tell me Aldos time is over. I think Frankie gets it done this time.

Frankie getting fed Conors left overs max holloway would destroy edgar and aldo

Yeah but that was last time. (Nice avatar, it looks like Eddie Murphy is confirming your statement.)

Possible but I doubt it. I think we see vintage Aldo, leg kicks and fast powerful striking. I think Aldo takes it by either TKO or unanimous decision. Aldo is just a bad match up for Frankie.

I have to say I hope Edgar takes his head clean off

Edgar is going to fuck him up - not because Aldo is on the downslide, but because Edgar is the better fighter. When he fought Aldo the first time it was his first cut in a long time and he had been in like 6 wars in a row. He's the best he has been, and he is the best 145 pound fighter in the world. Edgar will find his chin.

I've got Frankie in this one too, and also in a potential Mcgregor fight. If he manages those two wins he should be in the discussion for GOAT considering what he has done above his natural weight class and longevity in the sport as a top ranked fighter.. It will be interesting to see if all this comes to fruition and each step is a tremendous challenge and by no means guaranteed for Edgar but I am favoring him in both fights.

As far as actually being GOAT I think he would need to step back up to LW and win the title again. This is where I think the uphill challenge lies and I would assume he is unsuccessful whether that is against Dos Anjos or whoever is the champ at that time period.

Definitely Aldo drew the short end of the stick with an Edgar fight after not getting the instant rematch he wanted and needed.

UFC loathes Aldo.

Jose will easily win the first 3 rounds, lose the last two and coast to a nice UD.

A fresh Jose is too good for Edgar.

Edgar by Head Clean Off

Then we have to listen to Salty Aldo telling us the interim belt doesnt matter and he wants a real title shot against McGregor
