last weekend thomas almeida, aljamain sterling and alberto pereira suffered the first loss of their pro career.
this weekend ufc 199 features 5 undefeated fighters. which of the following will see their 0 go?
jonathan wilson 7-0 vs luis henrique da silva 10-0
tom breese 10-0 vs sean strickland
james vick 9-0 vs beneil dariush
brian ortega 10-0 vs clay guida
i dont know much about wilson or da silva, but i can pretty much guarantee someone's 0 will go after the dust settles in this matchup.
full disclosure: i drank the breese kool-aid. he keeps his 0. big test for him, though.
vick gets hit too easily, but seems to have a solid enough chin. i dont think dariush is necessarily overrated, but i do think vick is underrated. he keeps his 0.
ortega needs to improve his standup, but on the mat he's got sick slick jitz (try saying that 10 time fast). i can see guida avoiding the takedown and keeping the fight upright all 3 rounds. not sure who to pick in this one.
