Somebody get's popped for roids.. suddenly their entire career is written off

More and more I am seeing this on this board, especially with "The Cheat" Anderson Silva.

So, basically, what you guys are saying is that because he got busted the one time (even though the timing did make sense at the time) this means he automatically used for his entire career? So why didn't he get popped before?

By this logic than most EVERYBODY could have been juiced to the tits, because this is basically saying that the testing was garbage and Anderson got away with it being the #1 guy for years and years in dozens of fights.. umm.. what.

So if you guys believe he was roided the whole time what the fuck would stop literally every single other fighter from roiding as well, if this matches up with your beliefs logically that is. WHY would you care then? If he is just doing what everybody else was doing, why treat him different and write off an entire legendary career?

OR, am I to believe that you guys has a sort of "trust-buddy" system that you just believed everybody that wasn't caught, WAS clean the whole time?

Logic need not apply when trying to convince people your GOAT candidate is the best choice. Just come up with nonsensical reasons to dismiss the people you don't want to win.

the sport is dirty

as we have seen with cycling and baseball, the guys at the top of dirty sports are dirty

anderson was in his early 30's when he was losing to journeymen WW's. He then went on an epic run that lasted well passed his physical prime. we have seen the pictures of needles in the past. he got caught the first time he was tested out of comp and by a better lab (he still passed tests from the shitty lab). when he got caught he didnt make anything resembling a sane excuse. he went absolutely absurd with his story, making any window for giving him sympathy (broken leg) close

you can argue that anderson shouldnt be singled out but the fact that people believe he was a career roider is totally valid. its a logical assumption.....unlike the blue vial of thai viagra story

Yep. Pretty much zero tolerance for me. I give a little bit of leeway for diuretics, but not much.

For women, I have less than zero tolerance. Taking something to make you more manly when you are a woman..... Beyond low.

As for Silva, I always despised him anyway. Pissing hot and coming up with pathetic excuses just reinforced my low opinion of him. Forever tainted. Barry Bonds of MMA.

...... Anderson also fought in Pride. And even if they all took roids while in Pride. It wasnt against the rules. In the UFC it is cheating tho.
