It's quite interesting to see all the defense that Conor is getting regarding his loss, such excuses include the weight and moving up, cardio, late replacement etc.

Here are some facts that Mcgregor nuthuggers should read and understand.

- Even when Mcgregor fought at 145, on fight day he would be not far from what he was for this fight (Don't forget, in the embedded videos his coaches state many times that his speed is still there with more weight and power etc.). Diaz isn't a natural 170 fighter, he fought most of his career at 155 and doesn't package on 20 pounds of muscle like most others. If they fought at 155 it wouldn't have made much difference in terms of their walk in weight other than that Diaz would have had a full camp (more next).

- Mcgregor had a full camp to prepare for a fight (Jan 12th was when the RDA fight was announced). Yes, he had to change opponents but he had a full camp to prepare to be in fighting shape. Diaz was supposedly training for a Triathlon (means nothing for fighting except cardio) and had just 10 days to prepare (even less considering all the last minute media he had to attend that took up a lot of time). About that 10 days preparation, imagine the amount of sparring Diaz missed out on? He says it in the post fight conference and it makes sense. You can't brush up technique and have enough sparring practice in 10 days then fight anywhere close to your full potential.

- Mcgregor claims that his cardio costed him the fight, whilst pushing the agenda that he gassed and panicked as his excuse. If you watch carefully, it's very clear that Mcgregor was hurt from the shots Nate threw, there's no way he looks fine and dandy, get hit's with few big shots and then instantly gasses. The 1-2's he received took it out of him mentally and he was dazed, this caused him to shoot for the most desperate double leg ever seen against a Cesar Gracie black belt with multiple UFC submission finishes. Was Mcgregor's IQ was extremely low to make such a poor decision because he was just gassed? Of course not, he knew he was getting lit up on the feet and lost confidence in his stand up. It's possible he chose to get subbed instead of TKO'd although that's up for debate. Either way he broke.

For all those Mcgregor fans seeking a rematch down the line, just imagine this fight taking place at 155 with a full camp for Nate... Diaz was just getting started in Round 2 and Mcgregor wasn't even close to finishing that round, so a 5 round rematch vs Diaz seems like a terrible match up for him.

Do you mean objective?

He also said that Nate hit him with hard shots and that led him to shoot; he was saying he wasted a lot of energy headhunting and throwing wheel kicks, while Nate was fighting efficiently.

Subjective Facts is an oxymoron.

I think you mean objective?

<--- grammar police. But I agree with you.

Not a huge Conor fan but there is absolutely a way he wins against Diaz following a different game plan. Being more conservative knowing Diaz won't go away easy, throwing more leg kicks since Diaz sits heavy on his front, Working the body more, etc.

Don't know if I would ever consider McGregor a clear favourite against Nate but I think that fight can go many different ways.

He started getting hit because he was gassing and he started gassing because he got hit. The two go hand in hand.

I don't see most of that as excuses. They are simply reasons that Diaz was better than him. That isn't really excuses, it's showing how much you suck and the other guy was way better.

The one real excuse that he gave was "Diaz was much bigger than me boo hoo"

Subjective Facts.

Subjective FACT: All that ink on McG made him get tired, he carries like 20 pounds of tat ink. Meanwhile Diaz did not have that slowing him down.

McGregor's heart gassed once he started getting tagged, then he employed the "panic wrestler" game plan.

That night Diaz was the better fighter. That being said Diaz was right place/ right time against a champion who believed his own hype. Diaz was the Buster Douglas. But if you look at there fights prior to fighting each other Mcgregor was clearly on another level striking wise and found much more and easier success. Conor will be humbled by this. It's the best thing that could have ever happened to him. And he didn't lose his belt to learn that lesson. Expect a focused beast in UFC 200.

And Diaz? He will stay a gatekeeper. Albeit a wealthy one. But he still won't beat RDA. Nor can he beat Robbie imo.

Yeah you definitely mean objective, not subjective lol. Oh well. Where in china you from, man?
