Ive done a lot of research and personal trials on this subject, and I consider myself to be fairly knowledgable in overall body fitness and health. This is just a little bit of guidance for people out there looking for some good work out supplements, wanting to maximize their muscle build potential. *Gaspari Nutrition* has awesome products, period. I got many of my friends at my old job hooked on Superpump 250, which is similar to something like NO-Xplode, but a better price and many think it works better. I also use their SizeOn, which is comprable to Cell-Mass from BSN. And recently Ive also picked up the Plasma Jet extreme Nitrous Oxide liquid caps, and Novedex XT testosterone booster. If anyone is looking to start a supplement stack, or switch to something new, definitely try out the Superpump 250 / SizeOn combo from Gaspari, you can even get a starter kit with a 5 day supply cheap from their website. Ive used many different pre work out drinks such as Xyience NOX-CG3, NO-Xplode, Gakic / Leukic, etc... And nothing compares to Superpump. My arms after a hard lift are just engorged with blood for upwards of an hour, and stay above baseline for hours after that. Dont be fooled by brands like MuscleTech etc, while their stuff might work, its overly expensive and is just a big flashy overpriced tub. Gaspari's product is in a pretty basic looking tub, and cheaper in price, but it WORKS.

Also, BSN's Syntha-6 is the best protein powder out there! Not only is it quality stuff with varying absorbtion rates, but it tastes awesome. The Vanilla Ice Cream flavor is just beautiful.

(And no, I dont work for Gaspari! Im just trying to inform the un-informed so they dont waste time finding stuff that works at a great price, like I did. ~_^)

Sounds great if you're lifting for aesthetics and want to look jacked for some slut later on in the day. No real purpose for people here.

The most common, and realistic, advice is this:

Work on your diet, and unless you're an elite level athlete you don't need a lot of supplements beyond the basics, ie: good multi, fish oil

I do understand what you guys are saying, I do the basics too such as take flax seed meal / oil, good multi vitamin, cut back on fast food and no soda etc... This info if just for the guys who want to get a better visual physique faster. And sure, its great with the ladies, one of the few visual things they notice first are the arms / overall build. And doing this helps build strength faster than normal, Ive up the weight I lift quite a lot over the few months Ive been doing this. I know this is the diet / supplement forum, but hey these are supplements. :) And surely everyone can be a bit more muscular no? It helps with cardio and long term work outs too, I did a muay thai practice a couple months ago followed directly by an mma practide, I dont think I could have pushed thru it without the help from some of the stimulants in Superpump. :p

Sorry to invade the forum with worthless info according to you guys, I just wanted to help out the few people who might be interested...

    Fish oil>Flax oil...

In all seriousness, this is a training forum, not bodybuilding.com.

I'm interested in getting the superpump/size on stack how much size did you put on from this stack specifically and does taking plasmajet as well induce even more of a pump?

Ummmm, blood "pump" or "gorge" is not indicative of growth. Just for future knowledge.

Anecdotes are interesting, but not very helpful in truth. There's just as much of a chance someone will follow in your footsteps and fail as there is they'll succeed or agree with you. Such is life.

What those of us in-the-know here try to do is provide information that facilitates a person's ability to think for themselves, and draw a conclusion based on facts.

Vedic, it may not be indicative of immediate growth, but many beleive that it helps the muscle grow more during that time. More blood flow to a muscle = more growth, common sense anatomy there. Im an EMT so I do have a brain here. :) Anyways, while this is a training forum, it still doesnt hurt your training to get extra muscle, beyond what it built during a regular mma workout. Im suprised this thread is met with so much hostility really, Im just giving good information to some people who actually are interested. Lifting weights / personal physique is very much in the same neighborhood as fighting and training, its not like I came in here talking about street racing and video games. I guess since Im a whitebelt Im a nobody, whatever. And I love how someone made a new name just today to come and troll me, thats cute. Ive been around this forum for over a year, I just rarely post.

JTF, Ive put on very noticable size over the 3 months period Ive been using it, and have upped the weight and reps considerably. And thats just lifting in my backtard, all I have out there is a bare bench with 2 curl bars and 2 free weights. I had an emergency appendectomy at the end of last year, so I had pretty much withered down to nothing by the time I was recovered enough from surgery to lift. The Plasma Jet does indeed seem to induce even more of a pump, the extra vascularity shortly after taking it is definitely noticable, up until the actual lift. You can check out gasparinutrition.com and browse their forum for more reviews and info, but if you decided to buy some I wouldnt recommend getting anything from their site other than the starter kit. (it comes with a free shaker, which is key for mixing the superpump! ^_~) massnutrition.com has awesome deals on anything work out related, thats where I order things from when I need to. And thanks for being the one person to show interest, Im glad I helped at least one person out! :)

Bottom line is, Ive tried many products, and found one that I and many other have found to work. Its better for some people to see a real genuine testimonial like this than to just take a shot in the dark and spend extra money at GNC. Like I said before, I dont work for Gaspari or anything like that. I just got done with an excellent lift earlier and it felt so great that I wanted to share the info with anyone else interested. Especially for me, considering I only lift 2-3 nights a week, and I looked like a stick man 3 months ago. Now Im noticably in much better overall shape and people notice the size difference all the time. Its a nice feeling, pardon me for wanting to help others gain more self confidence as I have.

you seem knowledgable, it's just strange you would recommend products that are all from the same company. The majority of martial artist/fitness people I know, and I agree is that the only thing you need, and can be sure that your PROBABLY not wasting your money are fish oil, multi, whey protein. There are plenty of reports that would deny the effectiveness of those products as well. Everyone is different though, and you know your body and theprogress you've made, so I say if you've got te money and it works, keep doin it. The best thing is just to lift hard and eat whole foods IMO.

I agree with everything you said. Thank you for a good response! :) Well in terms of pure pre and post work out supps, Gaspari has it down. I also use MuscleTechs Hydroxycut sometimes in the morning when Im tired, I dont like coffee and it helps get me going, same caffiene buzz lol. And of course BSN's Syntha 6 Whey, that stuff rocks. Thats 3 companies! :p I know theres reports for and against creatine / arganine etc, I just figure if theres even a chance that it works, its worth the small cost to try it. ^_^

    You should write for infomercials.
Well, it's a good thing no one here thinks that way. Otherwise we'd all be broke, and not an ounce fitter for it.

Let me break it down for you. First off just like blood flow is not indicative of growth, taking a 12 week EMT class is not the same as even one college level anatomy class. Now that we have that out of the way, let me say this. Blood flow does NOTHING to make you bigger. Glut4 receptors and cell permiability of aminos etc is what induces anabolic windows and growth. Its induced by exercise and the most important process takes place in the small intestine. not the pump. If blood flow meant groth, every time you had a boner it would mean your dick grew from it. We all know that doesn't happen and that's the easiest way to explain it.

I just passed Anat / Phisio 101 in college on my way to applying to the Paramedic Program, thanks. :) And while you may be fully correct, you may also be a bit off, theres no sure way to prove it. Vaso dilation does more than people can know, and the effects havent been tested yet. The theory is that yes, everytime you get a boner it wont grow, because the blood vessels are the same size. But if you increase the size of the blood vessels feeding those muscles, thereby also increasing the cell size, amount of blood / o2 / h2o the cells those muscle can take in, your muscle should be able to increase their size more effectively. Im in no way some muscle head here guys, Im 6 foot, 170, intelligent college student. Ive tried traditional working out in the past, and using these supplements has made a noticable difference for me. Theres a reason nearly all of the mma fighter we all love use them as well.

Oh forgot, it was an 18 week 200 hour EMT Certification course! ^_~

You DO sound like a rep pushing Gaspari nutrition. Those guys get banned. Fair warning.

Congrats on being an EMT, and eventually getting into paramedicine; there's a few medics floating around here, including TX911, TimmyTomatoes, and myself. But don't think that some basic A&P and Patho make you knowledgeable in sports nutrition.

In the meantime, read this and this. Written by a guy who IS knowledgeable on sports nutrition and supplementation.
