My Dad had one years ago. I tried to use it when I visited for a few days and hated it. The thing mostly say unused in a room for years until he sold it dirt cheap.

The one I'm seeing is dirt cheap as well.

The company is actually still around although replacement parts are $$$.

I think Stallone was using one in that Arm Wrestling movie he did.

I had the imitation version when I was a kid.

It uses giant rubber bands instead of weights, so if it's been sitting around for 30 years it could actually be dangerous. If that thick rubber snaps under tension you do not want to be in the room when it happens.

You could try to buy new resistance bands but even if you found some, chances are they've been sitting on a shelf for 30 years too.

You'd be better off with a used weight bench or power rack.
