I soda loaded for swimming back in the day.

I'd be careful. Some swimmers got an irritating nauseous feeling (they didn't puke, but they just felt "off").

Well, I decided not to use the soda without having tried it in practice first.

Finished 4th out of 14, one point out from third. Not bad for my first one, I suppose, but I was disappointed in a couple events.
