Socialism is the savior, nothing you can do!

well, you can catch a plane and go live in venezuela, a fucking socialist paradise.

Forget Capitalism as a failed experiment, there is know winning system, humans are the failed experiment.

Capitalism as you know is done, the formula Dind't work just like like soviet union communism. So alternative ideologies from people you call "progressives" are getting track.
It's all about socialism, the middle class is being pushed down the toilet since the 80s,when was the last time wages got up? How much does your corporate boss makes comparing to you?
And it ain't about being poor its just about, taking action. Capitalism is a failed experiment, it reached the breaking point and the big factor to his downfall is human greed.
we always want more. The ideia of your tax paying dollar going to help your countrymen is bad? Is social security a capitalist idea? Universal Healthcare is capitalist too? Well about 60% of Americans are for single payer.
Numbers don't lie. Socialism is already part of US society, now it's time for you to accept that.

What if I was to tell you that I think national healthcare and education are good ideas and that I might even think UBI might be alright but that I think you have a much better chance paying for those programs with a capitalist economy?

Neither Capitalism nor Socialism/Communism has ever really been successfully implemented.

I'd call you a communist bastard and call for your execution.

After Trump increased spending while bringing a tax break, socialism will follow things up with even more increased spending and will be the crack that breaks the dam.

Enjoy your 24 hr erection though.

Clown shoes.

Ok economist expert. How will this bring about socialism?
Weird that nobody else could figure it out.
But you got it?
You have this, right buddy?

Funny how most of these so called socialists are also some of the most vehement supporters of open borders, mass immigration and multiculturalism, pretty much to fanatical levels in many cases. Things which are totally antithetical to the greater good type politics they claim to champion. Imagine parroting the exact the same values and opinions as the multinational corporations you claim to oppose and still thinking you're some sort of anti-establishment revolutionary fighting the system. It's all a massive scam.

Capitalism is a failed experiment? When did America ever try it?

You're an uniformed idiot.

What size is your television? What cell phone do you have? Have you missed a meal? Capitalism is awesome.

18 years ago small 40" plasma cost like 15 grand. Today you can buy an 80" flat screen for 600 dollars. Competition works. The market works.

I'm typing this on a handheld super computer that I can use to access anything in the world. With a tap pizza shows up in 30 mins. I can tap and and tomorrow the boots I need will be delivered.

It is an amazing time to be alive. Never have the poor had it so well. You must be too young to understand what we have.

Fucking cars drive themselves!
Who do you think is producing those consumerism products? Is it fair to them? thank God im healthy, it's not about me but your countrymen problems, socialist measures need to be addressed. You only pointed out the "good part". Not everyone is living like us, crony capitalism is dangerous. And I know if we keep this pace and live the life the banks state and commercials industry make us believe another financial crisis is coming.

The middle class wouldn't even exist without Capitalism. We would all be poor like Cuba or Venezuela if we adopted Socialism. It's simple math.
LOL republican talking points, the middle class is the heart of socialism. Cuba is doing fine even with a criminal embargo. Venezuela is the product of Maduro bad lidership , and USA cruel financial sanctions.

Interesting point actually, but you're talking about socialist measures, so it's not necessarily capitalism, the way to pay it would be with easy , stop the capitalist tax breaks on the rich corporations, cut the defense budget, along others.

I personally wouldn't want to live under any other political system except a democracy and capitalism seems fine to me.
Yes China became rich very quickly and it was we who made them rich by putting people out of work and getting things made over there instead. Who the hell would want to live in China? The only good thing about the place are the young women.

Depends how you define the terms, right?

The basic issue is this: In any market-based economy, about half the population (kids, elderly, and the disabled mostly) don't work and mostly rely on people who do to provide for them. But inevitably, a large portion of those providers won't make enough to do that. So in any market economy, about a quarter of the population won't get enough income to meet basic necessities without some form of transfer income. Doesn't have to be "socialism" (for example, at some times and places, you a supra-national body--the Church--that had the power to compel payment and redistribute; and welfare/SS isn't really socialism), but it has to be something. I'd define a society in which a quarter of the population can't get basic needs met as failing.
