I'm going to give you a reasonable response on my position and then you're going to do exactly what you accused me of doing. You've already decided I'm mentally ill so I'm probably just whispering into the wind here.

I was asked if I believed it was false, and I replied that I wasn't convinced it was true. Not being convinced it's "true" doesn't define my default position as "false".

I pointed out that the timing was suspicious. Trump's admin blatantly exercised it's authority to violate the First Amendment and received enormous backlash, including from other Republicans. Then, powerful people looking to curry the favor of a crooked admin hand him a story that will deflect attention, despite the fact no evidence came from the story and no details that would prove such a similar violation existed.

We've already heard this story before, and it went like this: The Biden admin
asked Facebook to do some things. They did some (where I assume they agreed it made sense) and ignored others (where I assume they did not).

I don't KNOW exactly what's happening here but if the Biden admin coerced any corporation, I'd be open to hearing evidence. Don't mistake me for someone that blindly trusts government, any government.

The horses mouth often lies, and considering the incentives they have to do so I think it's naive to believe them without receipts.

They have receipts, moron. Accounts that were banned during that time have already begun stating that they have been reinstated for the first time since that era. Nelk Boys is a prominent channel as an example that was banned directly after their Trump interview.

You are either blind to the concrete evidence right in front of your face, mentally ill and unable to disassociate from your narratives (as we've established), or a potent combination of both. I understand my question in the original post came off harsh. I didn't mean it to be, I genuinely wonder if the crazy people know that they're crazy.

They use forceful suppression and physical violence to push their ideology. You can call it whatever you want, but they are the worst of the worst in American political movements... and everyone not a Leftist knows it.

It warned my heart to watch ANTIFA get the crap beaten out of them in my town. On the same day it happened in Huntington Beach, ANTIFA trashed Santa Monica, Santa Ana, and Long Beach... but THEY'RE NOT ORGANIZED OR A SINGLE GROUP! Your statement is pure propaganda.

Banned accounts aren't receipts. Proof they were coerced to ban the accounts is a receipt.

Good post.

There is no hope for any insight when you can so easily dehumanize the other side. It's not just that they feel the other side is wrong on the issues- they feel the other side and anyone who disagrees with them is bad. It's a moral failure to disagree with them, not just an opinion despite all of the logical problems with that position- it's pervasive on both sides, in the media, political leadership, and populous of both sides.

It's painfully obvious that political violence and cancellation/censorship is a problem for both sides, but the pot will continue to call the kettle black no matter what, to the detriment of all of us.

Younger Ron Paul was. His 2008 presidential race while libertarian was based on bipartisanship solutions. Why the Tea Party first leaders were theatrical hardliners like Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann.
 
i'm glad we finally have an administration that doesn't apply unconstitutional political pressure to private companies to influence their speech.
