With that suspect chin, Emmet would be one of the worst matchups for him lol

He's faster, more dynamic - and if he says he wants to be champ he should go through Emmett who is somewhat of the gatekeeper. Lots of guys who can crack at 145 so if he cannot get past emmett then he's not champ material.

I don't think any of the guys he's asking for will agree to fight him, Pitbull had a hell of a time getting an opponent until Yair finally agreed after being harassed for weeks. Pico will have an even harder time getting these top guys (especially the cherry pickers) to sign a contract. He needs to slow down on the "champ by 2026" talk too. With that said, Zalal, Murphy and Allen all seem like realistic choices.

I just want to see him fight. Any of those matchups from Ortega to Kattar would be great, just get him in the cage ASAP

Ortega is headed to 155, Kattar isn't a big enough name nor does a win give much clout in doing so. He needs to fight Allen, Sterling or Silva. Though rather see him fight Silva after either one is Champ, as Silva is ranked low, so a win vs him now doesn't move him close in rankings to a title shot, nor should the UFC risk ruining 2 of their top 3 non title holding FW talents for no belt. Allen vs Pico is intriguing because styles make fights, Allen has a decent ranking in the division and a win vs him puts Aaron in title talks. Sterling is an ex Champ, Aaron can look very Dominant vs Sterling and a win vs Sterling silences most doubters.

He really got a weak resume, while he was there Bellator also had a ranking and he's only beat 2 guys that were in that top ten, neither particularly good.
Overall, he's beaten 3 guys that even have positive records in Bellator, one of them is a career bantamweight, one was 37 years old and the last one is now 13-10 overall less than two years after their fight.

Two guys right on the edge of the ranking, Steve Garcia or Chepe Mariscal would be really good scraps.

Surprised they signed Pico tbh. Been a bit of a let down after crazy hype.

I’m more surprised at how many here seem to believe he’s ready for a title run. Dude has shit the bed in all his big fights. I’d say Nate the Train or Choi is a perfect fight for him. UFC would have a hard time convincing any of the top 15 to take a fight with Pico, who is relatively unknown by most.
