Honestly I'm not even angry that Siver has pulled out because honestly if the best Siver showed up he could've been a horrible matchup for BJ. And I just didn't want to see BJ get beat by Siver.

So who do you think gets the fight now? One of my initial thoughts was Cub Swanson but then I realized they are both training at JW.

So...
I think maybe Cole Miller? Gray Maynard? Myles Jury? Tatsuya Kawajiri?

Also call me crazy, but
BJ Penn vs Makwan Amirkhani is a fight that's popped in my head a lot since finding out Siver was out. And that's I fight I would LOVE to see.

So who do you think it might be?

Crusher wouldn't be a bad idea. Similar in age and been around a while. But I fear he could still LnP BJ.

Yeah but what if the lay n pray Gray shows up and he just lays on BJ for 3 rounds. I'd hate to see that.

We should all campaign for BJ vs Mr Finland.

Bermudez?? Let's ease Penn back in there, see if he has anything left before feeding him to a contender. Don't want to see him catch another beating. This is only his second fight at 145.

Yeah but there's a chance Penn knocks him stiff or gets the submission.

Mr Finland reminds you of Penn? Not me. Doo Ho Choi reminds me a lot of the Hilo kid though.
 
Sadly I don't think bj will be motivated for a replacement opponent
