Wasn't Goldberg injured throwing those security guards around? It may have been the only way to get him into the ring. Also may have been the only way to extend him for more dates as well. There's merchandise to be sold.

I was shocked.....It will only work if they build to a Wrestlemania rematch, and build it as Brock being overconfident in this match. Other than that, I don't understand the reasoning for squashing him.

It could be a result of Goldberg being injured. I also just read that Goldberg has already signed a deal to appear at the Royal Rumble, so a rematch could be in the works.
